FLK2 practice questions
FLK2, Functioning Legal Knowledge 2, is the second SQE1 assessment. It covers property practice, wills and the administration of estates, solicitors accounts, land law, trusts, and criminal law and practice, including criminal liability. Ethics and professional conduct can be tested throughout, and taxation is assessed within property practice and wills and estates.
How FLK2 is set
From January 2027, FLK2 has 170 single best answer questions, answered in two sessions of 85 questions, each lasting 2 hours 33 minutes. The SRA splits the subjects between the sessions: wills and the administration of estates, solicitors accounts in that context, trusts and land law in the first, and property practice, solicitors accounts in a property context, criminal liability and criminal law and practice in the second. The SRA's announcement has the detail.
Using this page
Solicitors accounts questions are set in the context of a property transaction or an estate, so practise them alongside those subjects. Every question links to the source behind its answer.
Dates
For the January 2027 sitting, FLK2 runs from 18 to 22 January 2027, the week after FLK1. See SQE1 exam dates for booking and results.
